Te Hokinga Tuna is a whānau-led kaupapa based in Te Tai Tokerau, dedicated to restoring our ancestral waterways through tuna (eel) regeneration, mātauranga Māori, and intergenerational education. We blend traditional knowledge with modern practices to revitalise our environment, uplift our people, and create sustainable pathways in aquaculture, tourism, and cultural education.
