He Wānanga mō Te Tiriti i Kaikohe brought pakihi Māori together to explore how Te Tiriti values can shape how we do business. Arohanui Allen and Te Hiwi Preston brought a blend of practical tools, deep reflection, and kaupapa Māori leadership.

He Wānanga mō Te Tiriti i Kaikohe was a powerful and inclusive gathering grounded in Te Ao Māori values, bringing together pakihi Māori from across Te Tai Tokerau.
Arohanui Allen and Te Hiwi Preston brought a blend of practical tools, deep reflection and kaupapa Māori leadership. Attendees explored how Te Tiriti principles can be meaningfully applied in business today, with sustainability woven through every kōrero. The wānanga offered practical tools, deep reflection, and space to connect as Māori business leaders committed to tikanga, whenua, and whanaungatanga.
Arohanui reminded us of the sophistication of hapū rangatiratanga, a system guided by values such as hara, utu, and ea, where Māori were known as risk-takers, innovators, and traders long before colonisation. Through whakairo, rāranga, mōteatea, and pūrākau, our tīpuna maintained and transmitted knowledge that shaped thriving, connected communities.
Te Hiwi grounded us with his reflections on governance through a Te Tiriti lens, challenging us to consider how we make decisions, uphold mana, and apply integrity in the spaces we serve. It was a timely reminder of the importance of honouring Te Ao Māori values and principles within the corporate and business world that we operate in.
It was a celebration of kaupapa Māori enterprise and collective growth, good kai, good kōrero, and great inspiration.
