This wānanga will give you practical tools, resources, and strategies to strengthen your online presence and grow your business.

Event Overview

This event features two tailored workshop sessions delivered by Meta and their accredited Community Trainers:

Morning Session: 9:30am - 1:30pm.

1. Cybersecurity for SMBs - keeping your online accounts safe.
2. Instagram Reels workshop - promoting your business using short-form video.
3. AI for Small Businesses - harnessing Generative AI technology to promote your brand and products.
4. Reaching Your Digital Advertising Goals - how to use the latest tools such as Meta Advantage+.

Afternoon Session: 3pm - 7pm.

1. Trends – understanding the latest social media and digital advertising trends, and what they mean for your marketing strategy.
2. Meta AI Update – learning how to use Meta's Generative AI creative tools and Advantage+ solutions to develop, test and optimise advertising campaigns.
3. Performance with Meta – applying best-practice approaches to account structure, campaign setup and optimisation to improve advertising performance.
4. Reels & Creators – learn how to use short-form video and creator partnerships to develop engaging content and reach target audiences.
5. Data & Measurement – how to use data, measurement tools and performance insights to evaluate campaign effectiveness and inform optimisation.

NB: the afternoon session is designed for participants with a good foundational understanding of the Meta platform.  We recommend watching the on-demand Meta Masterclasses available in Te Hapori o Whāriki beforehand to ensure you have the knowledge required to get the most from this session.
