Joining us with a wealth of experience in administration, financial management, and project management, Taimania has a proven track record of uplifting te iwi Māori. Her collaborative work with Māori organisations and active involvement in her hapū, showcases her commitment to advancing our people's aspirations and overcoming challenges together.

A Passion for Toi Māori

Beyond her professional realm, Taimania is passionate about Toi Māori, digital art and design.  Her creative talent has already made a significant impact on our hapori, notably through her contributions to the design of print and display media for our recent WHĀRIKIx event in March.Taimania's artistic vision brings a unique blend of innovation and tradition to our initiatives.

Educational Journey

Holding a Bachelor in Design majoring in Graphic Design, Taimania's educational background has equipped her with not only the technical skills but also the cultural sensitivity to navigate the intersection of Māori identity and contemporary business practices.

Vision for the Future

Taimania's recent role as a Growth Advisor for pakihi Māori with Northland Inc/Te Hiringa has deepened her understanding of the needs and potential of Māori businesses. Eager to leverage this experience, she aims to strengthen connections within our Whāriki Te Tai Tokerau network, fostering growth and success among Māori enterprises.
